Armada im Hafen von Cádiz, gest. 5. Jan. 1596. Die Kartoffeln hat er zwar nicht zuerst nach Europa gebracht, aber bekannter gemacht. – Biogr. von Barrow (2. Aufl. 1861) und Corbett (1891).
